Balkan chamois

In 1964, the Balkan chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra balcanica) was reintroduced to the area of Biokovo, and he acclimatized there well. Chamois is a species protected by the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats (Berne Convention).
