I left the shadows of the virgin forest. Sharp sun made me blind for a while. I went further along the blooming mountain meadows so I can climb on Crna Glava, 2137 m above sea level - the highest peak of the Bjelasica and see those mountains. I could not take my eyes off that breathtaking panorama. The mountains full of snow white and rock towers had enchanted me. They are wild mountains, so beautiful and unrecognized. These mountains are damned!

Yes, this is also way how to feel the beauty of wild mountains called Dinaric Alps which are situated on the territory of former Yugoslavia and Albania. A place that is almost untouched by human activity. Within the program FOREST - Dinaric Alps we pay attention to the local ecosystems of this not very explored area.
